2NE1’s Sandara Park and her “Dara Dara Dance!” is a hot topic among netizens. Sandara Park’s cute voice and tone when introducing the Dara-Dara-dance from her “Light Citrus Frgrance” music video, launched the new dance video, which showcased the Dara dance.

Seven days ago, professional make-up brand, Etude House (etude.co.kr), released to the world, the sweetest and most lovely video, showcasing a day in the life of singer-turned-Etude-Girl, Sandara Park, as she danced her cute and lively dance steps for the “Dara Dara dance” to the tune of favorite BGM “Purple Fragrance.” Dara’s actions were reminiscent to that of a rabbit, in fact, many people have noticed that she acts like a rabbit in previous years, but has become more pronounced this year, the Year of the Rabbit (A/N: IDK how this makes sense, but whatever floats their boat).

“Light Citrus Fragrance,” is the music video released by professional make-up brand, Etude, for their Spring/Summer (S/S) collection, and started off with their Miss Tangerine collection, with Sandara Park as the image model. The “Dara Dara Dance” and the diverse styles featured by Sandara Park with her lovely tangerine make-up, is causing a stir with the netizens. An Etude House official says, “The music video was meant to show Sandara’s light make-up, with a focus on her lovely citrus lips,” he also explained, “The glossy lipstick, ‘Sweet Shower Lips’ contains citrus extract, that showcases the Light Citrus lip color, added with natural pearl gradients, keeping the lips moist (A/N: I think it’s to avoid chapped lips, he didn’t elaborate *punches)” he continued. “Then adding light make-up on her already compelling eyes, plus soft citrus blush to add color to her creamy skin, completed the ‘Juicy’ type of make-up for Sandara Park,” he explained (A/N: Remember, there are three kinds of make-up they promoted? Like, Juicy, Sweet, and Poppin’).

Even before “Light Citrus Fragrance” was released, the public was already highly anticipating the new Etude line, because of the different topics leading to it, such as “Tangerine Dara,” “One hundred faces of Dara” and “YouTube rating.” Indeed, the “Dara Dara Dance” became a continuation of the hot topic, as it showed Sandara Park’s slim, lithe body, doing the fun, cute, and lively actions of the “Dara Dara Dance,” while playing during spring time and trying on the different Etude products. To commemmorate the launch of the new spring collection, Etude would be releasing clips from Dara’s music video, from February 1-28, for their “Sweet Shower Lips” line.
