Erm, I don’t know what I’m doing with this *facepalms* but I saw a bit of commotion in Soompi with Dara’s interview, and I was surprised because I didn’t read that interview as being desperate or whatnot. It may be because of the tone. I dunno. LOL! Anyways, decided to do this one for all you guys. Just my own version of the trans. I’m not saying that the trans is incorrect, in fact, Grace of YGL is really, really good, I’m nowhere near her capabilities and I bow to her.
There are just a few things that are SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT from what I understand.

Spring is once again in season. The spring winds have been blowing steadily, and Sandara Park’s mind is getting excited by the season too.
“Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty all had their own Prince Charming, riding on white horses, why oh why don’t I have one too.”
Sandara Park is 27 years old, yet still dreams of love. When she talks of love, her eyes go big with curiosity, which also makes us wonder what kind of prince Sandara Park would want to have.
“Well…Mr. Kang Dong Won? (laughs) I’m really sorry that Mr. Won Bin doesn’t have many activities these days. He looked great in his role in the drama Ggokji. My ideal tough, younger guy was just like what Mr. Won Bin showed in that drama.”
While she is still wandering around her mind full of dreams, Sandara Park reveals that she was also abandoned by love. I don’t believe that any guy could resist Sandara Park, but she says that it is her fault since she cannot talk to guys very well.
“I’m not very sweet with guys, in fact, I can’t talk well with them. When guys try to talk to me, my first reaction is just to smile and not talk back, like what happened in one awards show we attended. The other members always tell me to change how I act and they tell me, “You will never have a boyfriend if you continue doing that, no men would notice you.”
Sandara Park says that she is “Foolish Dara” when it comes to her dating experiences. For one year, she dated with her boyfriend, but then broke up when the warmth of love was gone. She has remained “single” since that long time ago. Sandara Park reveals that she is eager to express and feel love once again.
“I am really, by nature, bright with the people I am close to. I am the one responsible for being “outgoing” in 2NE1. It is a bit difficult to get close to me, but once we do get along, then I will become “outgoing” Dara for you.”
Although Sandara Park refuses to acknowledgeher own popularity, it is a fact that many men in the Republic of Korea have their hearts set on her. Many males have said on live broadcasts that Sandara Park i their ideal woman.
“I think I saw a few people on air who say that I am their ideal woman. I saw some broadcasts. But why don’t they ever call me? I’ve thought to myself, “If they really like me, then why don’t they call?” So based on that, I don’t think I’m very popular. Even the people around me don’t show that they care much about me, maybe because I’m always with my manager. It disappoints me a bit.”
For Sandara Park, Yang Hyun Suk, their company president, tried to change the no-boyfriend contract terms for “Foolish Dara.” But Sandara Park still thinks that it is a pity.
“We had a contract that we would not get involved with a boyfriend for five years, then it got changed to three years. But even then, after three years, I would be 30 years old. But I don’t mind it very much because work is important. I love what I am doing, so even if it’s hard, I will continue.”
When she was still a kid, Sandara Park dreamed of getting married at the age of 22. She says that when she was young, she wanted a beautiful wedding dress.
“I did not expect that I would not get what I want before I reach 30. But I have a contract to finish. I’m a bit sad. There won’t be any chances to meet anyone before that.”

@ Truth Sandara does not talk about two men: her father and Joseph. Two of whom hurt her the most. i think it is but dignified of her to do so because if she has nothing good to say about them then it’s better to keep quiet. It’s called respect, by the way.

I like how honest and straightforward the way Dara answers and expresses her thoughts in every interview. She’s always been ‘SWEET and SPICY <3.
If they find her 'desperate' in this interview well that's their opinion..and I respect it. All I can say is…. I'm proud that Dara knows how to speak her mind. She's honest and she knows what she wants. I love that she's REAL.

I think that those guys who expressed that Dara is their ideal type didn’t contact her because they had to undergo the 5 steps first. Maybe some already tried but hasn’t passed even in the first step.

i can feel what dara feels right now, im a yr older than her and at this point if feel frustrated of the thoughts of getting married. @upset, Bashers will always be bashers, some people are just born miserable. We all know that Dara’s honesty will always be used to her disadvantage. She never had a problem with that for “Truth will always sets you free”. At the end of the day, she has to look at her face in the mirror. These are her inner wishes, dreams and yearnings and they are honest and real. And people just have to live and respect that and as fans we have to support her.

@upset: I see what your saying but in the past there was a lot I MEAN a lot of discussions going back and forth due to people taking things to seriously. You should understand that most of the people that are saying move on do not want to create the issue even bigger because if people don’t then the forum will be lead with pages within pages of rants and does no good to the group or to Dara. Also it shows that not all the fans are super sensitive that they have to defend her all the time when someone makes a comment they dont like about her I mean getting hungover something small is not going to make the situation better.

But those who defend Dara do so, because in the first place it’s so sad that Dara gets bashed in a 2NE1 thread, a thread dedicated to her, Minzy, CL and Bom. It’s not ok to bash or “criticize” any of the girls in their own thread. We can’t do anything about AKP or any other sites that are non-2ne1 related but in their own thread? really sad.
And as Dara fans, that’s all we can do really, stand up for her =)
i actually get yarg707’s point because that might be their reason..i just noticed that when it comes to other members, they are actually defending them a lot. that’s just my observation. but if yarg707’s reasoning is behind the stop the discussion already, then i completely get the point.
In all honesty Upset there are a lot of people who defend Dara lol and some are a bit more passionate than others so the issue stays heated sometimes thats why people are trying minimize the criticsm by not pointing fingers and what not and keeping the the threads clean. they do that for the other members as well it’s just that when it comes to Dara you cannot deny the massive amounts of fans she has so it’s natural that a lot of people will give their own opinions when it seems like she is being attacked. The critiscm would probably be a hard one not to find because it’s an international forum where people of other fandoms come and read and give their own insights so naturally some are more blunt with their words than others and some just have that dislike mentality. So yeah don’t worry about it too much a lot of the active members have been through so much drama they do not want to see it over and over again because it’s just too sad and we really don’t want the fans being divided and that is why they consistently persuade people to move on so we can spazz about the girls instead of the negativity ^^.

Hmm I think there are like different types of fans there are those who love the whole group completely and fans who are like neutral or has piqued interest in the group and want to see how they progress musically. I think theres like a fine line between a die hard fan and a fan who wants nothing but to see improvements when time passes. Honestly for me I love the girls but it doesn’t mean I love everything they do or push out because you know sometimes as fans you dont have to love everything they do its normal because sometimes if you know they have potential to be something greater then show em lol. But yeah it is hard sometimes to satisfy people you wanna love the group but also want to see improvements just so that more of their potential can be harnessed well hopefully it’ll be calm again but i’ll doubt it some just take the issues to seriously to heart and make it last longer.
i know i think it’s ok if like that..but bashing is different from critcism..and you can always pinpoint hate..actually i do criticize and i do acknowledge what my fave’s weaknesses is..but sometimes, even just little things are taken notice if its her..and well i think if its ok if we defend her if we’re not doing harm or saying something harsh..the others actually do it also and no one’s stopping them..i don’t know why when it’s dara, we look like blinded fans to the others when we’re completely not and just defending her in a harmless way..i see them defending the others also..so i think we’re all blinded fans if that’s the case right?i don’t hate on improvement thingy..i think it would be good for her..but when you get out of bounds..well, i think it’s not right anymore

i agree with lee’s point because bashing a member in a 2ne1 thread is simply wrong and unacceptable. If they want to bash dara, they should not do it in that particular thread because that thread is dedicated to 2ne1, if they want to give their so called “constructive” criticisms they should keep in mind that most of the people who visit that thread love 2ne1 and it is understandable that they visit that thread because they want to be with the people who also love 2ne1. its the place where fans can give support to their idols and to each other. before voicing out their opinions about a particular member, they should be sensible and sensitive enough to other members who visit that thread. 2ne1 fans visit that thread because it is their haven, its where they expect to see supportive comments. if they wanted to see hateful comments or “criticisms” they could have gone to other sites not dedicated to 2ne1. LEE APIR! hahahahaha :))
It was an interesting read however IMO I wish these interviewers had some better questions to ask they always Imean always tryn to use these dating questions I mean yes it’s nice to see her views on it but I wished they had better material I mean hearing this question over and over it gets played out lol. I think you’re thinking about Hero Angeles, the guy she was paired up with in movies. He was the one who won the star circle quest and Dara was runner up. That’s why they got paired up in a lot of movies and shows. so naturally people thought that were a couple. A lot of Korean reporters would ask about him but she would say that they were only friends and that was true because her boyfriend was Joseph. he was like 4th or fifth runner up. I’m pretty sure it’s true becuase when their relationship came out they did a couple of interviews together.
But if you still think otherwise. its cool. I don’t really care who dara ends up with or who she’s been with as long as she’s happy. GOOOOOOO DARA
