as for the article, i want to spazz, but i will control myself. yes, i am bias in supporting one particular shipping (shout out to all the applers!), but when it comes down to it…i will support whomever dara chooses in the future and the one who will show her his devotion by waiting for the “right time”. YG is indeed a genius in putting a clause regarding dating. dara has a lot of potential to grow and with the korean entertainment industry, it seems to be harder to do so once the media finds out that you are attached. with YG’s provision, dara became unattainable for a period of time and highly desirable and challenging to others roaming eyes (i think it is a wise decision that YG made for the artists and it may not be an intention, but also a good marketing ploy. look, but don’t touch! hehehe). 3 years is not a long time, but enough to put the potential suitors and best candidates to a series of trials (be able to handle the pressure that comes with being with someone who is in the public eye with lots of adoring fans and at the same time, giving enough time to know if the feeling of love will endure the test of time). dara needs to establish herself first and also work in supporting her family. it would be good for her to find someone who understands this and is willing to accommodate her and wait. so, may the best man win! fighting!

If you look at the article in a non-shipper way, it’s also highly possible that because a mention of Dara’s name gets so many hits and that episode of Strong Heart elicited a lot of articles about Dara asking for a shorter term in the boyfriend clause (she reacted first, in her dorky, funny way, if you remember), the article chose to mention only her. Internet writing does that. And saying “even if someone has confessed” is pretty evident from the Strong Heart story.

After reading the article, my lightbulb switch ON in a snap. I must say there’s a little doubt in me for whose “THE ONE” confessed . But my appler heart remains loyal for DaraGon. GD’s interviews pops up in my head saying “I want a girlfriend..I wanna get married soon. I want to have a family of my own”. And managed to make a “wedding background in his concert for the performance of HELLO”. The confident man saying those words, but needs to wait for awhile.
If i cut off words from the news this is what i get…

As my co-Applers stated, YG is not an unreasonable person. He may put limitations for the good of all but he is no tyrant. Separating them publicly and keepng things hushed is his responsibility both to his artists and to their fans. The performance was for GD, it was his songs, he had the privilege how he wants it done. He wanted Dara in a wedding theme, he got it! One thing though, YG made sure only 1 fancam got out and there was no scandal other than Breathe.

just want to share my thoughts regarding the idol not allowed to date… i think korea has got it all wrong. by forbidding the artists from dating only reinforces the fans thinking that the artists are people who aren’t supposed to date. it’s not healthy at all. i mean, look at other countries. for example, zac efron, jonas bros. are popular but are also acknowledged that they date. it shows that they have personal lives and they are not the property of their fans. because korean idols are closeted, fans continue to think that they control the idols’ lives. basically, the whole k-entertainment industry gives the power to the fans/netizens. no wonder they are able to get away with so much stuff like the jaebum incident, etc.

HE-LLO APPLERS!!!! i’m surprised!!! alot of my co-applers are here…. thanks deshi for accommodating us here… applers!! thank you for visiting and spazzing here to our humble home in “OH DARA!”… although i’m kinda sad…lately whenever i visit YGL a lot of applers are not posting anymore like before…( sorry if this is out of topic, just curious..??) i know it’s that time of the year, were suffering from DARAGON DROUTH ..T–T.( i really hope this is just the reason..but i think otherwise..pls. enlighten me). that’s why our thread is not moving as fast as it used to be…( may i know if we have another place to spazz other than ygl and oh dara!..coz i’m missing all of the high level excitement and investigations,,, although some of our co-applers our doing their best to post new investigations… kudos to them..for trying very hard… but sad to say.. most of it are just recycled…and most of the newbies are violating the rules… even most of the time our co applers will always reminds them still… rules are always violated… ( deshi i hope you don’t mind it… i need to asked help from my co-applers.. thanks for understanding) that’s why i’m asking or should i say pleading to all my co-applers to actively participate again and visit our home….i’m appler#323… were over 500 now and still counting… i know you may find it ridiculous or strange why i’m doing this…me too.. IDK?? maybe bec…” I DON’T WANT TO LOOSE A FAMILY AND A HOME THAT I REALLY LEARN TO LOVE AND TREASURED ( other than oh dara! of course)…” i know all of us was hurt on the past incident… but i hope everyone can coped with what happenend and moved on…. we owe it to DARA and GD.( their still needs our support… we’re the elites among the pairings in ygl , FCS!!).. i hope it’s not to much to ask but i think our HOME (daragon:the dorks) founded bec of our unconditional love for DARA and G-DRAGON… more than anything else…so i hope we can still support and love them until the day R-D comes…” THE REVELATION DAY”.. i totally agree to everything u said..gd can choose any other artist to do collaboration in his album but he choose dara. some my think its because dara is the only girl artist in 2ne1 girl that he hasn’t work with, so thats why gd pick dara..but he didnt just pick her for that reason. i think more deeper level..its his first solo album so everything he puts on that album must be special and close to his heart because he will put his heart and ability to that album. and every content on that album he puts his heart and soul, thats why i think there is hello and specially butterfly..u know if singers cannot express there feeling in action why not make it in to songs….i also believe they value there work for now thats why they follow yg’s rules and condition because they know its for their own good..

and as ive said on the YGL applers thread, Daragon, or any other Dara pairing for that matter, would be career suicide for Dara and whoever that guy is.
Fanboys and fangirls can become scarily obsessive, and dara is still very much a rookie, so no, i dont think it would be well with fans. yes, they do agree with them when they perform, btu that’s it. fans are comfortable with it because they are on-stage. but if it were in real life, i shudder at the thought of what those fans can do to our dara.
YG is wise. I believe in his Love waits, next to success or something like that. like it or not, love and relationships would tend to distract artists. They ARE people too, and if normal people get idiotic because of love, who’s to say that idols won’t? so yeah, it is a necessary precaution that YG acted on.
