I’m all for supporting the local fashion industry. If their business thrive the windfall will affect thousands of others down the line. It’s good for the economy. That’s why I salute Dara for taking this initiative of being there. Hopefully, she’ll continue to do so by wearing their creations in other public functions she appears in. Korea has a lot of creative designers that need this type of exposure a celebrity endorsement will bring. The high heel graffiti shoes she wore at the “Twenty” premiere, for example, was created by a Korean designer. Really hope she tells her stylist to mix and match local and foreign brands more often.
