2NE1 to be First Asian Singer to Appear on ‘Facebook Live’
2NE1 will be the first singer in Asia to be interviewed on Facebook Live.

The group is currently staying in America for the New Jersey and L.A. concerts of its world tour New Evolution, to take place on August 17 and August 24.
In between the two dates, on August 23, the girls will drop by the Facebook main office to appear for 45 minutes on the social network’s live interview program Facebook Live.
Facebook Live has previously featured many influential figures, including President Barack Obama, Madonna, Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Oprah Winfrey.
2NE1 currently communicates with more than 3 million fans around the world through Facebook.
On the show, the group will talk about how it feels about its first concerts in America and what happened behind the scenes of the performances. The members will also answer questions asked by their fans through Facebook.
During their stay in America, 2NE1 plans to continue on with such promotions in the country through local media outlet interviews.
2NE1’s New Evolution concert held in Seoul near the end of July garnered much praise for its quality and performances, heightening expectations for the group’s U.S. tour.
Travis Payne, choreographer for the late Michael Jackson’s This is It concert, Divinity Roxx, leader of the Beyonce tour band and Jeremy Scott, global fashion designer, pitched in for 2NE1’s world tour. The tour will continue to the end of the year through 10 cities in seven countries, including America and Japan.
