While they may have gone separate ways to pursue their respective careers, fellow Questors Melissa Ricks and Sandara Park have remained close.

The K-Pop superstar, who arrived in the country yesterday, even remembered to bring back a camera for Melissa as a belated birthday gift!

Scheduling conflicts, however, prevented Sandara from personally giving her the gift, so she got her Filipino friends to give it to the actress.

On the box, the K-Pop superstar wrote: “Nini (her endearment for Melissa), late birthday gift ko to sayo! hehehe Misshooo! From Krung~” (Translations: Nini (her endearment for Melissa), this is my late birthday for you! hehehe I miss you! From Krung ~ (Dara’s nickname in the Philippines which means “crazy”)~)

Melissa, touched by Dara’s thoughtfulness, shared with MYXph that the camera was something she mentioned in passing when Dara attended her birthday party last year.

“She had this camera and she was taking pictures of us. Sabi ko, ‘Uy, parang gusto ko ng ganyan Krung*!’” (Translation: She had this camera and she was taking pictures of us. I said, “Oh, I think I want one of those Krung*!'”

As luck would have it, Melissa, who celebrated her birthday a few weeks ago, finally got her wish! She said, “Hindi niya nakakalimutan ang friends niya dito sa Pilipinas.” (Translation: She never forgot her friends here in the Philippines.”

When asked what her message for Sandara was, Melissa said:

“Krung congratulations, I know this is a dream come true for you. To be part of 2NE1. To be a singer and make so many people happy. I’m so happy for you. I’m thankful na you still remember us and you’ll forever be in our hearts. Thank you!”
