    English is spoken with different accents or twang – even in the US-of course you would not want to stand out and be different if you intend to stay and make your home in a different country-so you adapt to the accent. In the case of 2ne1 guesting in another country is another matter-they are foreigners and obviously will have a different accent. So Dara no matter what your accent is you express yourself well- be your witty self and charm them all.

    About speaking English, I think it’s natural for the girls to be speechless. *putting myself as an example* even I myself when I arrived here in America I really thought that speaking English would be just as easy as when I am in Philippines since in my school before we have that subject and sometimes it’s our rule to speak in English when it’s our English subject. but guess what? right after I set foot here in California. I get too shy, the feeling where everyone speak it was just too different, you will kinda feel intimidated or there’s a feeling that you might get laugh if you say it wrong. But really I do hope that this girls could somehow speak up and prepare their selves for their US debut. I wish them Goodluck and will suport them all the way. Fighting~!

    and oooooh. such a sweet Noona. I wanna know what she said kk^^

    Dara’s so cute supporting MBLAQ, the performance made me laugh. In the 2nd video I guess CL is their official spokesperson during interviews for International show which is not bad since she’s the leader of the group. I know Bommie is fluent in English with an American accent as she speak while Dara can speak English with a Filipino accent which is not bad either. Minzy is probably still learning the English language but like what Bommie said in 2NE1TV Season 2 if Minzy gets the opportunity to live in the US for 6 months, she’s the one who will adapt more because of her young age than the rest of them. 2NE1 fighting! ^_^

    Dara yah, you can do that English interview better. Do not worry about your accent. You grew up in the Philippines so you have a Filipino accent, so what. You do not need to fake an American accent to speak, we do not want that. We want you the natural you. You did great speaking English in the Philippines for you interviews. That is more than enough. Just have fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, (lost count). 😉

    aigoo..that interview literally left me scratching my head…Dara and Bom come on speak up…nobody’s going to bite you if your English isn’t perfect (oh well if all interviewers look as hot as that guy I wouldn’t mind being bitten any day at anytime..lol :P) …anyways CL was groping for words too but she did fine…poor leader was left with no choice but to speak up on behalf of the group….come on Dara girl you can do it!!! 🙂

    I hope Dara will be more outspoken during English Interviews… Her English is not BAD why other Koreak Artist have the Guts to talk not fluently and they also have the accent hope minzy and dara will do the talking next time because poor CL sometimes she pass the Mic and no one’s responding… Girls please be vocal if you want to be launch in the US MARKET netizens in the US doesnt like quiet people

    I wish they’re more talkative when they’re doing English interviews. CL dominates the mic when they’re interviewed in English; I want to hear more from Dara and Bom. Bom’s supposed to be the one from the US but she hardly speaks. It’s so weird to see Dara acting meek and cowed while CL’s answering 99% of the questions. I hope this trend doesn’t continue when they make their Japanese and US debuts. Dara’s learning Japanese, so if she’s not comfortable pitting her English against the interviewers, she should speak Japanese.

    … and they all need to start speaking up and shed their reluctance to speak in English (except for CL) if they hope to succeed in the US market. They need to make a good impression.

    I’m worried for them.

      same here! especially to Dara, if i’m not mistaken she said before that she’s kinda embarassed when she speaks english, i think it’s because of the accent!

        Aw, I wish they weren’t embarrassed they can’t speak with a Cali-girl accent. They should all rock their accents like Rihanna does. They should own it like Latinos do, make it cute or sexy.
        Even Jackie Chan rocks his accent, lol.
