I like the pictures… She seems so sweet. When I saw second pic, I was like liking my lips. lolz. because her lips looks so wet. I don’t know if that’s compliment but I like it. I’m also waiting for MS. Tangerines MV… keke

well, first off, orange/tangerine is not really a very flattering shade. In the words of Elle Woods, “Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed.” LOL plus im sure it’s not advisable to have the same color for ur eyes, cheek, and lips, esp if it’s orange ^^
but Dara did pull it off well, and im pretty sure there’s only few who can.
the make-up is like that because this is a whole line of Tangerine cosmetics. it’s not just lipstick or tint.
that’s why i dont think each girls will have a diff color because this is not just about changing tints.
anyway, it shows Etude’s confidence in Dara. and if the sales will be massive then it will be really impressive. i rhyme hehe

Dara is as pretty as ever, but I think what people find “off” in these pictures is due to her make-up artist. For the first pic, there’s no darker orange shadow on the bottom of her left eyelid, but it’s there on her right eyelid. And they used only one color in such a large area with minimal blending. Plus, the colors are a bit too bright to be used at the exact same time all over the face – perhaps they should have used a slightly more muted orangey-peachy tone on one area instead of making everything so bold. But at least her hair looks really nice! I’ve always wanted curls like that. :]
Not to mention, the fonts and colors for “Wanna be sweet?” and “PLAY ETUDE” clashes with the soft-but-playfully-sweet style they seem to be going for.
It’s not Dara’s fault!
just my opinion; no way am I implying that it should be taken too seriously. I do like everything else they released. peace 🙂
is it just me or does the quality of the pics & cf suck? they look old. 😦 wish etude edited them better.

i was kinda shocked to this pic but even so, she still looks so beautiful..a naturally born beautiful will always be beautiful no matter what the make up is…haha…pretty as always..

they should’ve known better.. rather than emphasizing too much on “tangerine”, they should’ve also considered how their model would look… bleh. i dont even know how to rationalize anymore.

lmao @ your comment …. but yeah, i think its the eyeshadow that make her scary …. why does it have to be yellow eyeshadow, it does compliment at all …but then we all know dara is naturally beautiful so yeah …just get rid of that yellow eyeshadow ….
