i also find it amusing how she is known in Korea as “Sandara Park”..it just makes me feel that she is so special:))

I noticed that too, and on 2ne1TV ep9 loled at Bom because she find it funny Filipino fans calls here Sandy, hehehe

i think it has to do with her name having three syllables (sandara) instead of two which is unusual in korea. it’s awkward when you say “park sandara”. and i think because she was known in the philippines as “sandara” is the reason they use her complete name instead of just “dara”. :]

i love how Dara is really known as “Sandara Park” and not “Park Sandara”. and in all their interviews and guestings they would always address her as “sandara” and not her stage name “Dara”. I guess it has something to do with the documentary about her popularity in the phils before but i dunno. lol.
anyways.. i just noticed it in the 11st honorary thingy wherein they were given some kind of a certificate or something. her name was typed in as “Sandara Park” while the others were “Lee Chaerin” “Park Bom” and “Gong MInji”. I wonder if Sandara is the only korean celebrity who is called by her given name first before her surname.

i noticed that too! that has been my observation for the longest time, im just quite not sure if in korea, it has some kind of impact or something..

yeah i agree with u.in korea she debuted as ”dara park”,but still the media call her sandara even her fanboys call her sandara….so in my opinion, she was already known and appreciated when her documentary was aired in korea….so i think that’s explain why she is very popular nowadays.
