You guys are right, it hurts that Dara is just standing there for the first 3 min or so. It is so not fair. CL’s voice sounds stressed, she doesn’t sound herself because she sings most of all the songs. And this is so unnecessary because u have the other members around that can also get the job done…

love is Ouch is love bjut they are not promoting it so we cannot see dara singing it. BTW, i have a question: They are performing 3 title tracks now and eventually they will be having their goodbye stage. Will they comeback again? And promote the remaining 3 songs? Like last time, they performed fire-goodbye stage-comeback stage with i dont care-then goodbye stage again. So what will happen now after goodbye stage? Just curious..

you made a good observation… i haven’t thought of that.
it would be nice if they surprised us with that. after they have goodbye stages for the 3 songs, they promote the other 3 songs.
but i think yg will give them a concert since i think they have enough songs to do that now. i hope they do one before they proceed with their japan and us promotions.
actually when i first learned that they will be having 3 title tracks, my hunch was it’s because YG will only give them a short promotion period given that Bigbang will be making a comeback and that Se7en will be coming up with a full-length album (read it somewhere). Knowing YG’s track record, he likes to test the waters first and then see how it goes.
I think the girls are ready for a concert soon, and Good Lord, i pray that i’ll be there in the crowd cheering them on.
onT: Dara’s sooo fresh! Just when i feel that the long hair is getting boring, she comes out with a fresh look. I was a fan of her before because she was cute and funny. and now she looks absolutely gorgeous, like a good wine that gets better with age, which on the contrary, she doesn’t look like she’s ageing.

Even though Dara got fewer lines than other that doesn’t mean she can’t sing. For me her voices is really one of a kind. Her voice and Bom’s voice compliment each other.

Okay, guys. First of all it’s been a long time (1 week precisely) I haven’t touched computer.lol. haven’t touched ohdara, and NOW with all the news, I feel DIZZY in happiness.LOL.
LOVE the radio shows! I always love their radio guesting. I positively hope that someday we will hear 2NE1 singing their solo songs, and DARA singing KISS. ho awesome is that ayt?
I do not have any complains, of who’s better who when it comes to 2NE1 coz when 2NE1 is together, all in my head is 2NE1! I’m a Dara biased but I just freaking love 2ne1 more than my jpop.lol. So I hardly notice that Dara has smaller lines coz Dude her voice is remarkable in every song. And she is in charge of fresh vocal that contrats the intense voice of others esp. BOM. ^^ love Park Sisters. I smiled everytime they share choruses. I really trust YG. The way he manages 2ne1 is already proven and Tested. Besides, we can see Dara in a soon future MV (squealing about 7’s mv.lol)
AND regards to 2NE1 in music charts. Hm. They are still strong in charts. If new songs is released, it easily climb to no. 1 but THE REAL TEST is how you will keep up. And 2NE1 is unbeatable on that part. If they aren’t no. 1 they are secured in no. 2 then when the hype of new song died, 2ne1 is again no. 1, as I’ve noticed. AND I really want 2ne1 songs to be promoted and be remarkable to people coz like what GDRAGON said music nowadays are easily change that easily forgotten and singers already finished song in a quick time. AND I really see that in Korea, they are becoming Japan.lol. But what attracts me to 2ne1 is their passion for music. They are legends, and every group whether girl or boy bands/indie/solo singers perceives them as THREAT.lol.

Itunes Japan not helping this time.lol) and support the girls by winning for at least the whole september and few weeks more GO TO DARAGON-HIDEOUT.COM they give free serial numbers. In terms of album sales TO ANYONE is unbeatable in Hanteo. Hope they’ll remain there for them to grab ALBUM OF THE YEAR, the most important and prestigious award.
I still can’t get over with TO ANYONE album. 2NE1 is very talented. and I can see other groups copying they’re style, but of course is not the 1st one in the whol;e world, but as a blackjack I’m so proud for the girls. They are indeed trendsetter. 2ne1 is their inspiration.

i don’t necessarily think that it’s not fair to dara. i mean, bom and minzy didn’t get to do much on the other songs so this is their song to shine or to showcase their vocals. dara does wonderfully at her part, little as it may be, just as minzy does in can’t nobody and bom in clap your hands. 2ne1 is a synergy of the 4. only when the 4 of them come together can 2ne1 be formed, to paraphrase dara and bom in ep 2 of 2ne1 tv s2.

I don’t think that YG doesn’t trust her ability that’s why she has lesser lines. I think they utilized her as a second voice because she blends well w/ the voices of others esp. Bom’s. It added a nice touch to the song especially towards the end when her & Bom were kinda overlapping. And even if Dara has fewer lines, most of the time it’s her part that people remember anyway so no need to feel bad about it. Dara did her part well that’s all that matters to me. Dara Fighting!!!

I will have to agree with tangerine on this one. There is obvious bias in the new songs and the mv’s in my opinion. Dara to me represents the underdog protagonist in a movie. When the protagonist wins against all odds, then that makes me feel good but when life blows another injustice to her which for me is akin to the situation here – when I think she without any doubt would have done a great job like she did in the small part given to her here – just because you know life as we know is unfair – kinda makes me taste bile for awhile. I really hope that she will be given a chance to do a drama soon. If YG is not allowing her to shine within 2NE1 then she can shine in another genre. I see a lot of star potential in her but then again I am bias towards her. 🙂
For me, I have no complaints. Minzy got small parts in some of their songs too. And as I heard in Love is Ouch, Dara got a lot of parts there, I almost hear only her voice there (CL’s voice amost the same there)… that’s why I’m looking forward to them singing Love is Ouch in some Radio Programs. And I won’t complain about CL and Bom coz I know they are the leader and the main vocal.

Ahmm… regarding your question, I don’t think they’ll promote the remaining three songs after promoting the three title tracks. They sang It Hurts twice already (If i’m not mistaken) so that can’t be considered as follow up song (?) But we’ll never knew what’s inside YG’s mind right? hihi. But if you remember, they performed in the club and pretty boy too, right? So I dunno. =) I just hope I’m making any sense here. =)

Thanks for sharing! It really is a nice song, “It Hurts” that Dara only has a few lines on this song which doesn’t surprise me at all. She always get to sing a few lines in most of the 2NE1 song except “Clap Your Hands” and “Kiss”. But I’m still glad that she became part of 2NE1, being given a chance to work with Gummy’s MV together with TOP, then with GD in “Hello” song, YB’s “I Need A Girl” MV and of course with Lee Minho’s Cass beer commercial. ^_^
