Japan’s “Girl Group Wave” is in the rise, and now, girl group 2NE1 debuting in Japan has garnered attention as the “Female TVXQ.”
According to officials, recently, Japan’s Avex, TVXQ’s Japan entertainment agency, was known to keep in touch with 2NE1’s entertainment agency officals. The officials said, “2NE1 has caught the attention of Avex with their unique music and concept,” he said, “Avex is likely to be 2NE1’s agency in Japan,” he reported.
Next year, 2NE1 would be debuting in Japan, as mentioned by the head of YG Entertainment Agency, when he gave an online statement last month, saying, “Early next year, 2NE1 would be debuting in Japan.”
2NE1 would be making their comeback in the music industry on September 9. 2NE1 has been on hiatus for over one year and 2 months after finishing promotions for their mini-album single, “I Don’t Care” on July last year.

Oh yeah!! Go get my girls AVEX!! If this will push thru me and matsujen will be one happy camper..We’ve been talking about this for sometime now. If the girls will debut in Japan, Avex is the best music partner. XD
How I wish 2ne1 can do collaboration with Arashi or KAT-TUN. I love these jpop bands. Anyway, it’s too impossible for now but still I hope in near future it will happen.

Sadly enough that part of their marketing intro is to be a female version of _________ BUT they had proven themselves already being a unique entity on their own, one of their kind… We have to shake off all the Negativity and just focus on their comeback and support them all the way…

Wow! In South Korea their known as female Big Bang and now in Japan as the future female TVQX. Hmmm…made me think of Jae Joong oppa & our Dara unnie he-he…It’s a small world after all. 2NE1 fighting! ^.^
is the Media’s strategy to LINK 2NE1= female TVXQ….But in reality, we as fans of Blackjacks & Cassies, we know their music style in Korea/Japan are totally different…..
So we can’t say 2NE1=Female TVXQ…..Is just simply means 2NE1 is in the same family as TVXQ in Avex. Just like 2NE1 & BB in Korea.
But who know, maybe in Korea, they are having the similar style of music like BB tat’s y they are called “Female bb” AND now for Japan debut, YG probably wants the girls to have a different image for a breakthrough, so it means, they will produce musics like the TVXQ style
and oh… i see some knowitall fan here… keke 2ne1 is propbably the most versatile girl idol group in kpop.. why question their talents mann>?? please use your google or other search engines and try to find out the big name artists under avex before questioning them…. imma shout a few…. i am just glad that there are companies, big companies showing interest with 2ne1 though they aren’t as visible for the last couple of months. it just shows that they still have an impact…they are a different girl group and i think any management would love to work with 2ne1 individually they have their own strengths,explosive as a group.

Take note, BB DID introduce 2ne1 in japan and in every activities BB had they exposed our girls to public on and off cam. Then why would they go on different agency? It makes no sense.
And one more thing, YG didn’t make a comment about it nor even sign the contract that agency is talking about.

either way, i think they will be well-received in japan. their fashion is very japanese. yes, japan is big on kawaii stuff, but there’s also a very funky culture over there where 2ne1 would fit very nicely.

well i really hope they will succed in japan but to me as a hardcore j-pop fan the chances of them that will succed is 50% which means it is either a hit or a miss especially if your in avex… -_- avex is a company that sux in promoting!!!! expecially with new rookie groups/singer just look at what they did what DBSK it wasnt until “purple line”(the song that made them popular) that avex actually starts taking more care of them… and in japan for girl groups it is mostly about cute and girly stuff so in 2NE1’s cases it can be extremely hard for them to stand out unless they change their style which i hope not i just love the way they are now… ;((( anyways gooluck to the girls i just hoped that they will stay in korea for a bit longer …..

It was the same with kpop as well. For a long time girl groups in korea were known with their sexy,cutesy and girly type but 2ne1
changed it all. 2ne1 made it big in kpop history so i believe that
2ne1 will do the same thing in Japan. Don’t worry our goddess Dara and the girls will show them how jpop will turn into 2ne1-pop!!!!
