Comments on: "Video: I Need A Girl MV!" (155)
I went to this one site called iBigBang and the reason why the “I Need A Girl” MV was pulled out by YG is because there’s this one scene in the MV that is similar to another artist’s MV. Rumors or speculations says that YG is being careful not to be accused of plagiarism (again) so they pulled out the MV and not giving any further info until now before the topic becomes like hot issue. So the comments about some fans not liking the MV is not really the reason why the music video was pulled out. I guess we’ll just have to wait until they remake a new video for “I Need A Girl.” ^_^

The MV is so addictive and the song described SANDARA PARK. I guess the composer knows Dara’s character. 🙂 Someone said the title should be I NEED SANDARA, I agree because the lyrics and the mv focus to Dara. Also, she’s sooo pretty, cute, sexy, smart, hot, lovely, what else can I say, she’s perfect.

ok, to be honest the video concept is just a so-so for me (ok lng sya, parang ganun hehe) yet i don’t agree to some pips on the other side of world calling this mv “cheap ” and so many other words which i don’t like to mention. yes, it’s missing the old YB formula (drama plot, yb’s aching breaking heart ending, dancing) but this video shows the other side of him.
and to be honest again, i didn’t pay much attention to the mv-concept thingy…because I was hooked with JIDARAYANG!!! hahaha..regardless if MV is just ok, YB still emerge as an outstanding perfomer. I enjoyed his smiles, his SEXYYYYYYYYYYYYY moves (yeah baby!), his biting-lips mode and of course the SUAVE voice!! He’s hot!! Overload! Hahaha!! Of course my bias, what can i say, GD baby — sexy and cute at the same time…MISHU!! hahaah!! Oppps! Hehehe! He delivered the rap flawlessly. 4 Thumbs up!! Last but not the least, of course the one and only Goddess, DARA!!! Wow, how can you be sexy and cute at the same time without trying so hard!!!! She’s so stunning. I like her the most in that black skimpy sexy dress…Wow legs, girl!!
Overall, i think those “fans” should chill you know. The MV isn’t that bad at all. And they should focus more on YB’s music and its glory. This is the best time to show the support and love because YB is working hard to come up with this album. Let’s support the artist’ growth. I’m fine with the constructive criticism. But I hope it wont go overboard. “Fans” should get over it, ASAP.

I was thinking the same thing. The MV is a light one w/ Dara & YB playing cute/smexy in the video but nothing hanky punky in it so what more if there’s a steamy kissing scene in it when Dara was pinned against that wall by YB (Ooh but I would love to watch that kind of scenes in that MV ha-ha…I hope when they re-make the video it will be a steamy kissing scene of Dara being pinned by YB against the wall ha-ha…That will be smoking hot!!!) But I remember when Dara was featured w/ T.O.P. in Gummy’s MV “I’m Sorry” she also gained haters at that time because of T.O.P.’s fangirls getting jealous when it’s not really a “hot kiss” but a peck in the music video although T.O.P. was teased on that one by GD ha-ha…Oh well, you can’t please them all. ^_^

i think the reason why YG put the vid down in YT n Gom is because the mv does not really match in the Teaser BTS..the bts is more exciting..than the actual vid…i think the director of the vid is not the same they always used/work with…for example 2ne1’s TTFM,Fire,IDC,You and I + OTHER YG MVs are all the same..same director… i think YG tried a new Director but it does not really worked..the MV IS JUST PLAIN…SORRY TO SAY THIS BUT ITS TRUE….But i’am looking in the bright side YG might edit the vid…i’am waiting for it YG…i wish they will just used the brick scene that scene is temptating/there is more passion to it and charisma and chemistry…YG family is jjang…¬!!!

I’ve been highly anticipating this video too. It’s really sad that there have been lots of negative comments. Although I kinda understand some of the comments of Taeyang’s Korean fans. Many of the complaints were pointing to the bad editing of the mv. They weren’t really satisfied with the camera angles,transitions, etc. They were expecting something as good or even better than his wedding dress mv (which was really topnotch in terms of cinematography,lighting,story & everything else)
The korean fans weren’t actually blaming Dara or Taeyang, it’s more of the people behind directing and editing the mv.
A lot were also uncomfortable with YB’s radical change from “sweet-shy-boy” to “hot-pimp” in this mv.
I was expecting completely positive vibes for YB’s comeback. Oh well, I hope YB doesn’t get too sad about this. And although Dara is in LA, she must be also worried for YB right now.

woohooo!! this is really worth the wait..i like the feel-good, laid-back feeling of this mv..simple but the content is there..there is no way that you cant be distracted by the hotness of taeyang, he just spellsssssssssssss sexiness in the real sense of the word..he is so hot, *drooling now*..hmm how bout our girl? she is undoubtedly one of the most gorgeous asian girls iver ever laid my eyes on..she is sexy without trying so hard, she’s a mature full-grown woman now..i must admit she pulls it off effortlessly, the idea of being an ideal woman for taeyang, in the mv, we’ve seen a laidback, simple, sexy, dorky and carefree dara..that’s the message of the mv..it is that simple, he needs her, he likes everything about her, the video is not the typical heart-clutching stories that usually works for us, it is indeed simple but believable, “i need a girl..” and we felt taeyang meant it..i likeeee this mv a lot!!!!..my smile never faded while watching it..good chemistry was evident..i like the awkwardness of the two esp when they’re facing each other, that what makes it cuter, they’re awkward but u can see that they like being that close to each other..i must say dara really has a magic thing on her, how does she do it? being able to establish great chemistry with almost all of the guys paired with her? regardless of age or image of the guy..overall, i like the video, taeyang portrayed it well, with his sleek moves and provocative gestures, i am convinced that he really needs a girl..dara really stands-out, her beauty is captivating..who can blame taeyang for needing her?!
