Consumers and audiences seem to think that Sandara Park’s “Kiss” MV is too risque for general audiences.
Cable Channel, ETN‘s Music Box has issued an apology to its viewers and has modified the “Kiss” MV. Girl group, 2NE1 member, Sandara Park‘s solo single, “Kiss” and its Music Video has been said to be causing quite a stir for viewers of the music channel. Because of its repetitive scenes showing drinking and gambling involving teenagers, the channel was forced to do some editing and adding a warning against drinking towards the end.
“The channel has rights to edit a broadcasted video and modify its contents according to the Broadcasting Law, Article 100, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 2, which outlines the legal sanctions, as the broadcasting channel sees fit. Depending on the channel’s decision, the “Kiss” music video may be modified, to allevate the problems in its broadcast. The Music Box program staff will modify the “Kiss” music video and will edit or delete scenes as they see fit, before broadcasting it again,” says an ETN channel representative. Okay, WTH?! That’s my first reaction. Like, “Kiss” is for an alcoholic beverage’s commercial ad, and not like any normal Music Video. Sheesh, of course there will be some drinking scenes, and if you ask me, there wasn’t enough of them to warrant an editing or modification. And besides, wasn’t Kiss shown like a millenia ago? This complaint is retarded for real.

everytime gd or top’s music is there… especially since they are really popular and expectedly they will be a talk they always make those banning, edit etc stuffs like that…

Actually they are giving Dara more exposure, this MV came out Sept of last year, with no promotion from Dara and YG and it made the charts. Dara made CASS name more popular for the young ppl. Now with the edited MV, Myx will be able to promote her single in the Phils and other asian coutries.
