So that I can put everything in perspective, I decided to post a day after the 2009 SBS Gayo Festival.

After my initial mood-downer reaction had died down, I agree with some of you that I am also okay with the limited performance time of Dara in the show since she seems to have a “natural spotlight” directed at her at any given time. However, the lack of Dara time would have been used more strategically if the maknae did the battle dance. Don’t get me wrong, CL did a wonderful job with her perf, but since it was a dance battle…I was expecting more of dancing. I thought that would have been right up Minzy’s alley.

As for my Daragon pairing, my so delusional self (or not-so?) misses them. I have to hand it to YG mgmt, to keep any Dara pairings to null at this time. After all, she is just starting in the industry and the way you look at it, Dara has the most marketable potentials to branch into other aspects of the entertainment industry. May it be acting, singing, hosting, modeling, etc. She looks good with just about any thing on and any person you paired her with. Even her voice, with more training (and I know she can do it), will blend well with any one. She may not have a powerful voice, but the mellowness and softness of her voice has potential and has the sound that will be able to harmonize well.

The way I see Dara, she can be a chameleon of many things. As much as she tries to blend in with the surroundings, she will still be recognizable and stand out. Just like the SBS Gayo show. As much as she has been downplayed during the performances, the little air time she had still made her and her personality stood out. That, in itself, is a natural ability that cannot be taught.

For Dara and 2NE1, I wish good health and more success in the years to come.

For Dara, a personal happiness only she knows how to achieve, more projects that will highlight her abilities, strength and persistent to be the best she can be, and above all, peace of mind from her detractors.

For Dara supporters, all the best in the coming years and an open mind and open heart. More Dara pairings and Dara projects in the future!

so many wishing for tabisan. haha… i want a little more darayang because i want to see if dara’s chemistry can do wonders for yb. he always looks so serious and he was paired with bom and they were both serious! haha… dara and yb will balance each other out. i just want to see a playful yb smile and look like he’s enjoying a performance. 🙂

Is it pathetic to say that just even watching bits & pieces of dara moments always makes me super excited?:) It just makes me want to see or hear her more. I am a really really big fan of hers… and I think she is the first singer/artist that have me joining whatever fanclub she has.

i want to ship lee seungi and dara now! lol….but i guess my friend will hate me for doing that, she is LSG rabid fan…anyway i love all the pairings, top and dara #1 for me but i love all the investigations by the applers, really interesting. we should wait for the bigbang concert instead coz probably there will be collab between bb and 2ne1 and for sure there will be surprises. dara had less exposure to this special and we could not do anything about it even the camera shots sucked. i cant help myself but to feel amuse about YB and minji. minji was adorable being touchy touchy with YB. YB and bom’s performance was really cute but not impressive. they could have done better since both of them have amazing vocals. i also love darayang but i wanted some more emotions/ eyecontact during the performance..bom was quite awkward here as well as YB. CL did great, she is one of the best performers but applers alert…just like minji she was so touchy with gd during the lets go party…these maknaes were aggressive compared to their unnies. dara was pretty and she performed amazingly. her vocals were strong and she looked really good with her outfit. oh the interview part, heechul is he another crazy fan boy? and even Jung yonghwa he was a little bit uneasy, is he another fanboy in the making?.by the way, i shared the vid to the my friend about lee seungi who is in dazed while approaching the girls preferably to dara, she said, i hate dara! obviously fangirls would do that and i was laughing at her and she said again, lee seungi was mesmerized of her, lol, meaningful words which came from a die-hard LSG fan.

What did the heechul say after Dara said something in the interview? pls anyone…

yeah your right dara got the best expression on stage she has this charismatic eyes that can hipnotize anybody!!!!! dara got the least exposure but memorable captivating glance !!!!!

im not gonna comment on the lack of daragon moments… damn there’s just too little dara on the show. the tiny part she had on LGP and the camera man failed to focus on her. jeez… CL performed twice (HB & The Leaders), Bom once (You & I), Dara & Minji were just in the grp perf. how’s that fair? oh well.

I’m quite disappointed, I am hoping to see the Hello perf as on the list they said they’ll going to perform. And on the Lets Go Party Perf the cameraman did not show the part of Dara. hmp!

Maybe YG doesn’t want GD and Dara to be identified with each other too much so that it wont affect Dara’s pairing with other guys after all she will also be marketed as an actress hopefully next year…keeping my finger crossed.

well, though i’m kind of dissappointed not seeing much of Dara in this special, I’ve notice that however they try to down play her, everyone just loves her, just look when LSG and the other guys were doing their interview they went directly to Dara, i mean Bom is closer to the guy but instead he automatically went for Dara and also for the out takes Dara again… She just have this undeniable charm that she doesn’t even have to try to get notice. I cant wait next year I have a feeling that Dara will have a great 2010 ahead of her…. Happy New Year everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

T__T so much expectation….*sigh* .stayed up late even i’m sick just to watch the supposedly hello perf… it’s kinda disappointing… and when GD said on his solo perf after the gossip man.. “I’M THROUGH W/ 2009” that made me really sad… it means to say no more future hello perf from DARA and him… it should have been great to end the year with this hello perf… but i guess they have reasons not to do it anymore…. so for us (spl. applers) we should wait for the release of GD’s concert on DVD… although the let’s go party perf was good… i love DARA when she held GD’s shoulder while cl is rubbing whatever to GD.. that’s why GD turn his head look at dara and anticipated the holding hands. i hope there be “fancams” coz the camera was not on them while DARA was singing her part….over all the show was great!! but it should have been AWESOME if DARA and GD perfomed “HE-LLO”…JJANG!!!! xoxointernational

hottests, don’t bash me, but there was entirely too much 2pm in that show. haha… like, almost every performance had 2pm in it. i was kinda worried about their health actually. how ever did they find time to do all those practices?

and can i just say that i hate the cameramen? i think i love the mnet cameramen more because they’re really dara-biased. haha… no, really. we hardly saw dara’s parts in the songs because the camera wasn’t focusing on the right persons! dara shippers are very, very disappointed! cameramen, next time, focus on dara’s facial expressions when performing because even according to yb, she makes the most wonderful expressions on stage. hee.

hope it will be better for the kbs gayo.

LOL i’m beginning to fantasize about what happened in their performance.

what if cl kinda likes gd? see, she sat beside gd in that chair.
and dara was jealous and distracted so she was kinda late when she held gd’s hand. (gd gave his hand a bit early, right?)
then when gd and cl was dancing with minzy..
maybe dara was again jealous and taeyang to the rescue.
to help dara and comfort her, he went beside dara to dance with her.

then if i’m correct.. gd said cl’s name when the perf ended.. and maybe that’s why taeyang checked dara out in the end?

and ohh ohh maybe, the reason why gd was not smiling the whole perf was because his hello perf with dara was cancelled in that event. 😀
