i saw those comments at the other site and i really felt bad too. but i decided not to look anymore because it’s only feeding my sadness and hate. let’s just ignore those who hate and focus on positive, happy things.
antis are everywhere, we cannot help it. dara, in some way, actually welcomes it because she said in pex something like, at least you are known rather than nobody knowing you. and i think her fans are much MUCH more than her antis. she’s a very strong girl and i know she has lots of support from 2ne1 and yg family and of course her fans.
as for me, i will always be a fan of dara – as a member of 2ne1, an actress, a model, and most importantly – a person.
I’m teary eyed reading all the nice comments for our Dorky Dara… makes me really be a proud fan, love you all Oh Dara peeps! All i can say is….

I love 2ne1 esp. Dara, there is just something about her that makes me want to protect her from evil people (haters!). Some people keep bringing back the subject of her being mediocre when she was still in the Philippines. I just want to remind those people that Dara has a new life now in Korea, and she is really working hard to better herself and her family & to prove to all those people who belittle her that she is really a STAR wherever she may be:)

As a matter of fact, I was not a Dara-fan when she was still here in the Phil. However, she was actually the one who introduced me to the world of k.pop. I liked her for her patience and determination to pursue her dreams despite the harsh comments she had received and still getting from various people from different races. I love her for that. She may look frail, but actually, she’s one of the strongest persons I’ve known (though not personally). She has improved a lot and still continuously honing her craft.
In the Philippines they say that “kapag ang puno hitik sa bunga, binabato”… she will not the haters’ favorite if they did not see any potential in her too. The fact that they throw criticisms at her means that she deserves the attention… because if not, why bother? …when you have “more important” things to do.
Please allow me to copy and paste my sentiments from the other site here too, I will just make changes and add a little bit to it:
Dara, though the words of your detractors are so vile, try to keep more of a positive mind about it. Remember that a person must always seek his/her yin and yang in order to fully reach its potential as a great person. There’s probably no one who would want to have haters, but you can’t please everybody, right? Besides you can still learn a few things from them that the people who loves you might have missed to point out. Just continue loving what you like to do and continue realizing the power of your dream. I’m sure you are already very aware that the road you chose is not an easy one, you have already experienced it in the past. The heartaches and frustrations that came with popularity of being a celebrity didn’t stop you to thrive in this business. You have proven and have been continually proving me not to underestimate being hardworking and passionate towards ones dream. You have inspired me, and countless of other people (I’m sure), to better myself in fulfilling my dreams too. Just remember that whatever countless blessing you received, you must be thankful by paying it forward, just like what you did in this danbi show. And by giving great fan service as always, kekekeke! Always remember your dream of conception, you are a beautiful flower (rose to be exact) that thrives in a scary rocky cliff. so let me quote you with the message you gave your idol (hyori), Dara, you were ALSO born to be love. As for the haters, thank you for taking the time to notice dara, she might not be able to please you but I’m sure she’ll take your POV to better her self more. May I just request that you give her new feedback because you just keep on using the same lame and redundant excuses on why to hate her. And yes, I think you can consider Dara as an attention seeker, after all, she’s in show business, duh! It is her job to seek attention as a celebrity. I’ll be more afraid if she stops seeking attention. YG must be really thankful to Dara, because he doesn’t need to hire a publicist anymore to get attention. Dara does it already with ease. And as for Dara fans haters, if you don’t want to be swallowed by her supporters just move out of the way, so you won’t be annoyed. I just realize that Dara haters has this vicious cycle to use to attack her, first is about her being talentless and if they get swallowed by dara’s supporters then they attack the supporters for being annoying and immature, so that’s why they hate dara because of her fans that is just really a lame excuse. Clearly, just trying to provoke more hate.
As for Dara’s fans, thank you for your continued support to Dara. though we may lose our temper against these haters from time to time, please continue to refrain from dragging other artists and fandom in the crossfire. Heck, I won’t even stop you from throwing stones back at the haters, ’cause I believed that it is sometimes necessary to make a point. But just don’t forget to do it with CLASS as it will always reflect back to our idol/s. Let us also try to open our hearts more with harsh criticisms and slowly digest it as a positive remark that can help dara flourish more as an artist. after all, one can only improve oneself when one knows where the fault lies. so if we continually love dara blindly she wouldn’t grow as an artist. but of course know how to express it nicely and positively.
last but not the least, thank you belle for continually sharing your expertise in translating news for us. And thank you Oh Dara! (Deshi) for creating this blog where we can freely express our love to Dara. Don’t worry about the haters I’m sure a lot of dara’s supporters including myself got your back! I just feel sad that there’s not a lot of people who wants to help sub 2ne1’s videos.
oh, and just one itsy-bitsy suggestion, Deshi, maybe you can add a why we love dara section or wall where we can express our sentiments by leaving comments/videos/artwork on why we love this girl, so if anyone of us gets upset with some haters’ issues, we can always read it back to feel happy and de-stress ourselves from negativity. of course haters comments shouldn’t be welcomed there and must be deleted. he,he,he!

I especially like your article about the different types of dara supporter you posted at pex, that was really nice and funny. I used to belong to the group of silent supporter, that just buy whatever dara stuff is out, but i’m slowly getting out my shell now and started expressing my sentiments online too. maybe in a few more months i” be like you too, kekekeke!

hi guys i’m new here, i’m a big fan of dara, and reading the haters comment gets me really furious. so low and stupid seriously. well anyways all i can say about dara is she is the best. i still remember when i went to the philippines (i’m korean and filipino) and we saw her concert with some other people. Knowing she was korean i walked up to her and introduced my self in korean. she was so happy finding out she had a korean fan. She chatted with me after the concert. she’s really an angel. A few months ago i went to Korea with my boyfriend, since he’s also a fan of 2ne1 we went to one of the music shows they performed in and saw them. I happened to pass by her and the members when she called out my name. I was so happy bcoz it’s been like three years since i met her and she still remembers my name. She asked how i was doing and introduced me to the other members. i told this stroy to prove to haters that Dara is both charismatic and proffesiona. To all the haters that think she’s nothing, well look at yourselves in the mirror first and criticize your own reflection. Well i hope i meet new people here. anyone up for a dara project? i really want her to know that there ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT HER. All I say is that I am so sick of Dara’s antis right now. Same comments over and over again and I think its time that the other members say their thanks to Dara. We all know that in the beginning Dara was the one that made this group well known. I dont know if you guys remember that there is one article in allkpop that states that how can Dara and 2ne1 fail when a country is supporting Dara to succeed? Haters and critics’ spiteful comments really don’t bother me that much anymore. Dara is a VERY strong person. Even PRESIDENT YG believes so. And to quote him: “She makes the impossible POSSIBLE.” With her persistence, I think she can hella improve MORE. I just hate that people continuously take her down. The girl’s been working her a** off in order to “catch up” with the other 3 members. It just so happened that she wasn’t BLESSED with NATURAL skills for singing and dancing. And Dara knows it that’s why she’s making up in anyway she can. I think that’s why I admire her the most among the members. It’ll be easy to drop hateful comments about her IF you didn’t know her career history. These haters…I think they should get to know Dara more in order to appreciate her. Quoting my fave line from Shrek, “Maybe we shouldn’t judge people before we get to know them.”
Only a blind person would say that DARA’s useless in the group. She’s the FAN MAGNET, actually. All those articles about her also helps 2NE1’s popularity.
