hi peeps ;-),,, sorry i missed all the happenings here last night… i’m too busy being an appler last night… hoping i can get some useful info from the concert that i can share to my fellow peepsers,,, but…. ygl crash last night and it took me forever to get through,,, then all applers waited for the fancams of hello perf but up until now….*NONE* the funny thing is…. almost all the perfs from the concert was already uploaded by fans except… the hello perf….i don’t know ,maybe it’s just me,,, but ,, i smell something fishy????!!!( well not only me but all the applers think so too) you think the fans enjoyed it very much (hello perf) that they forgot to take a vid??!!! ;-( ,,,,hmmmmm fishy fishy fishy…….. well i guess we need to wait for another concert night to finish,, hopefully after the concert tonight we will not be deprived w/DARA’s participation on GD’s concert!!!! and let’s hope… tonight we will SEE DARA being a doll again… to make it more exciting….and to show GD what he will miss if he will do the controversial stunt he did last night in real life!!!hahaha….. @sakata I totally agree with you…the Breathe performance was graphic but it actually made me smile…it just shows how GD is willing to take on challenges as a performer…it is such a big risk but hey he’s GD after all…always unconventional…and that’s why he’s on top of his game at such a young age…and I’m pretty sure his company has considered all possibilities when they decided to have this performance. 😀
Oh btw, I’m still convinced that GD and Dara do have a thing for each other not becoz of the Hello performances (though they have undeniable electrifying chemistry) but of the nuances I see when they are together…peace! ;))
I can’t wait to see fancams of the Hello performance! GD’s concert seemed like a huge success. I’m happy for him. But SERIOUSLY? That Breathe performance was too much. What is he trying to prove? We ALL knew what that song was really about, but what he did was just sleazy. Eck, I’m beyond disappointed in him.
On a different note, CL & Dara looked awesome, judging from Dara’s me2day updates. I saw the Leaders performance and it seemed like the rocked it. Someone NEEDS to upload Hello ^.^
And to add into the “Daragon” discussion, yes I’m an appler, but we have to remember that we have no idea what’s really happening between Dara and anybody. So, we can’t put down anyone’s opinions. Let’s just spazz in our respective threads and what not and be happy with who we support. ^.^

In watching 2ne1tv, I came to a conclusion that GDCL are not going to be together. Both their likes in a bf and gf materials are far off. CL like Teddy’s kind of guy, not pretty boys. GD like cute, skinny women with long hair. I think that is a reason that ppl think that Daragon is a big possibility of being real. We saw GDCL hug in MAMA but no news about that but when Daragon did hello, the articles came out like a scandal..lol. All I say to this is I am Dara fan first and whoever she ends up I will be happy as long as this person will treat her right. If this is GD so be it, after all he did helped her and plus they do look good together.

We are having the first snowfall of 2009. it does not look like it is going to stick though.
In my own speculation, which I am afraid of, is that Daragon is real. If GD can hide it, Dara cannot. She just naturally and constantly showing her feelings for him.
She sticks to her revelation about her attraction to that younger tough man. She is just so alive, giggly or nervous around him and it shows more at the way she looks at him. Their friendship came a long way already, I also believe the line in his Hello song “I’m falling in love with you girl” is for her. I am also afraid that me2day update before her B-day when she said “I love you” means that she answered him already. The previous updates before that when she spoke of love. As much as I want to ignore them, Dara’s updates always have meanings. She is a very sincere and an honest person especially when it comes to relationships & emotions, she does not play with those. She is also never a flirt for the heck of attracting men, she is just naturally attractive.
I hope whatever feelings she has for him will pass because he is too young. I just want Dara’s wish to be happy to come true, to whomever it would be. As I have said, this is just my pure speculations.

Plus i have never seen a korean celebrity with so much personality … no one can beat dara.. she can pull off being cool, sexy and cute.. unlike other korean singers who always stick to cuteness and mini skirts..

@Alisha, no worries, her Kiss made her get CFs with Lee MinHo. Her picture is all over Korea in buses, sausages and even Cass Beer cartons. YG has different plans for her which are probably bigger than the other girls. You never know she might be able to get a Koreanovela next year (crossing my fingers).
Do not measure her success with just one song, look at the bigger picture. Besides, life in itself is always unfair. You have to learn to look at a glass always half full, not half empty.
The Kiss single was used for a commercial and songs used in commercials can’t be performed on tv shows that’s why we never saw Lollipop ft BB & 2ne1 performances or SNSD’s Chocolate performed on music shows. I guess they made an exception for MAMA because it’s on cable tv or they got special permission or something.

Talking about the screams .. there is no doubt that CL has more screams just being realistic even during the group interview when the PD asks them who is the most popular in the group ..BOM and Dara will always answer CL and the other one Minzi i think.. its just coz they have more talent in term of singing.. but still dara is more likable in korea e.g. the fan boy she has gained … so far are alot .. uncountable and the endorsements and CFs she has are far more than others in the group.. not to mention about it … she is always the centre of the attention .. she has this likability factor.. while others are more charismatic.. so comeon .. each member has something ..
I think that CL is wearing sexy clothes more for Papa Teddy and not for GD. She wants to be impressive for their first live performance together and Dara was teasing her.

@Alisha, I beg to disagree because nothing in those photos are shocking enough. I also do not believe that YG is covering up anything. It happened only once in her lifetime and I do not find it to be the real her. What we see now in her me2day is the real Dara, simple and uncomplicated but deep.
CL and other Kpop girls are sometimes even wearing more daring clothes than those photos for everyday performance.
What I believe is that is what Dara is all about, she wants to surprise people & fans now and then. She does not want to be boring & predictable, it is her character. Everytime she dresses up on Awards night, it makes news because it is fresh and new for her aside that she looks marvelous.
Besides this concert is not about her nor to compete with anybody like CL. I think next year, she will be more exciting and let us all wait and support her no matter what.

GD is such a risk taker, too artistic. if it is here in the US, it is nothing but I thought it is a taboo in his country.
I do not worry about our girl Dara when it comes to the girls that surrounds GD at the moment. Dara is the type of girl who is “for keeps” and not just a fling. She is the girl that a man can bring home to their parents. It will be GD’s lost to not fall for her.
In the end the one who stays fresh, funny, loyal, patient & loving will get the man. Imagine growing old with Dara will just be fantastic, no dull moments, she is ageless.

Dara wore the same tights, i think her whole outfit came from her own wardrobe. Seriously, why can’t the stylists doll her up even just this once??

in one way, i don’t get it. i mean the lyrics says “wanna be a model”. therefore, the girl should’ve worn something more fierce or model-ly. lol.
BUT i think they purposely do that to dara because making her look gorgeous + hello performance with gd is inviting fangirls to hate. therefore, dara must remain girl-friendly – just cute enough for fangirls to tolerate. (which, it seems they do) 🙂
i don’t know.. that’s not how major concerts work. If a song or the concept of it requires you to ‘look like a cute girl/model’ then that’s how it should be.
It certainly didn’t stop Ivy from exposing her big chunks to khun during the mama event with the scandals surrounding her and all.
For ‘breathe’ on the other hand, i dig the whole concept of it but what i don’t get is that why does GD have to make it so… what’s the term.. ~graphic..???

I am very happy to hear those screams and excitements, lots of GD fans do love our Dara, they were also singing with her.
I am in tears right now while listening.
Hopefully next year, there will be another concert and more Daragon collaborations, I will be free to stalk and watch wherever it will be.
