FO is a show that’s pretty much “organized play” — some things are arranged for the cameras, such as the “characters” they kind of created themselves that they mostly exagerrate for cameras, and on occasion groupings and stuff. Plus, editing makes it easier for them to do that as well.

The thing with UEE is, she was edited as the popular, pretty girl — as befits her image in KPOP and After School. She even dresses the part. So they pick and choose and enhance the footage that shows that. For example, when she arrives, they put hearts on all the shots of the boys and did it in slow motion. The untouched footage would just look like they were JUST waiting and maybe anticipating a little.

Haejin isn’t allowed to join the crowd when she throws the carrots anymore because he already got what UEE threw. I think the game was to pick out who would work together on chores or something.

I also don’t think he avoided being on Dara’s team. UEE’s part came first in the game, and it would look really bad of any of the younger single guys and for UEE (Sooro is married, but Jongshin is seriously a UEE fanboy, Jaesuk wasn’t chosen I think) if they opted out of the game because they wanted to get someone else. PLUS a game is a game. It would also look bad if he avoided getting the radish, since he’s already known as the weakling, that would just make him look worse because the radish was thrown in his vicinity.

His interview on Champagne came WAAAAY before the shooting of FO. A full two or three months before, I think. Because when that episode aired, it was announced a week later that Ha Ji Won was going to shoot FO.
