Oh wow this is unexpected! Teddyboy Locsin, Jr. is a Philippine politician, lawyer, and journalist who served as congressman for the 1st district of Makati from 2001 to 2010. He currently does the editorial segment titled “Teditorial” for ANC’s nightly newscast, The World Tonight.
In the Philippines, it is common for local celebrities to endorse certain candidates and help them campaign. It seems Dara campaigned for him back when she was still a celebrity in the Philippines around year 2007.
He is also following Dara’s twitter account.

well i think his coming with a new article about how essential celebrities are during campaigns…he himself experienced it and it worked for him, about thanking dara it was a courtesy for him to do specially that he mentioned her.
What’s wrong with saying “thank you”? Teddy Locsin Jr. is a good man. Besides, he’s not running for any position in the politics. I’m proud that Dara knows a lot of sensible people which includes Teddy Locsin Jr.
After reading his tweets… I have doubts that it’s a legit account…. ^^;
This annoys me. I don’t know who this guy is but apparently he’s some politician or something who’s obviously trying to use Dara’s popularity.
This man that you don’t know anything about but chose to judge fought against a dictator in a country where it will cost you your life and limb to do so. He, along with other heroic men and women, safeguarded the burgeoning democracy in that country after ousting said dictator in a bloodless revolution. He has had a distinguished career in government, politics, television and print journalism. His opinion in his field of expertise is well respected among his friends, and foe alike and is often sought after.
He was a politician. He is not now and to tinge it with speculations of “using for popularity” or “ulterior motives” is an affront to what he has accomplished unselfishly as a stalwart of his country’s democracy. A country he was prepared to give his life to.
No, do not use as excuse that you don’t know anything about him because even if you do-you don’t have the right to judge him. Measure for measure if you’ll be judge the same way you judged him, you’ll come out empty.
he’s very witty, smart and articulate. i love reading his columns in the newspaper and his views and opinions in ANC. one of the very few politicians who are really good that Filipinos can be proud of.
Okay…this is my take on this. Teddy Boy is a very close family friend of the late President Cory Aquino and in fact was one of those honored to give a eulogy at her wake. It is not a secret that Kris Aquino counts him as one of her mentors and she also is a very close friend of Vice Ganda who is a huge fan not only of G Dragon but also Dara. Sweet John Lapus is also close to Kris and recently wore the exact same style of Dara’s Jeremy Scott Jacket on KrisTV. Apl.de.ap ,Korina Sanchez,Luis Manzano and Bianca Gonzales are also friends with Kris and we know what their 2NE1 connections are. So really it is not far fetched for their conversations to steer towards updates on Sandara Park. I am actually proud that Dara is on their radar and in a good way at that!

I don’t think Teddy Boy Locsin is running for anything. He is from a prominent family and has more than enough political and social connections to stand on his own. Besides, many consider him to be a brilliant lawyer and journalist as well, so I would give him the benefit of the doubt. Actually, I feel it’s nice that he is thanking and giving credit to Dara even after all these years, a gesture that he didn’t really have to make.
He is a fanboy. He needs to express his love thru gratitude after 6 years. Oh sure ^_^ how else would he done it? Just my though kk
Somehow I don’t really like politicians connected to Dara. I mean now especially when she’s already internationally famous. Its like he got some ulterior motive going on. Like seriously, you’re thanking her 6 years later…

6 years ago both of them didn’t have a twitter account. Ulterior motive or not, we do it everyday sweetie. Don’t be hypocrite and besides he’s not running for any office. I don’t know who’s worst, you who thinks and judge him that he has ulterior motives or him who is thanking Dara on twitter? Think about it.
